Starting the day off right with carrot juice!

huge chunk of ginger

1 lemon

2 cloves garlic

Juice + Buffy

Gina came over tonight after dance rehearsal with The Syncopated Sweethearts!

We chit chatted, I made us some juice,

and then we watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season 5!

Buffy Juice

Since it was eveningtime...I thought I'd pour it into a champagne glass!

She said is was, "really intense, but good!"

2 sticks celery

2 carrots

1 apple

1 large radish

1 lemon

1 lime

2 cloves garlic

Wednesday June 23

Today I made juice primarily from farmer's market ingredients.

There is a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays around the corner from my house.

Have a look at my bounty...all that kale! Little strawberries!

All in all cost me about $15, but without the berries...

it would have been almost nothing for the kale, carrots, apples, and sugar snaps.

Wednesday's Juice

A lotta kale

4 carrots

1 large chard leaf

1 huge apple

2 sticks celery

1 large radish

1 lemon

a ton of ginger

Tuesday June 22

ShuShu (my cat) says

"Where is the juice? I can smell it!"

Tuesday's Juice

I was a little nervous about today's juice,

as I ran out of kale and wasn't sure how the chard would taste, but it tastes great!

Monday June 21

Yesterday, Monday June 21, marked the first day of the existence of Juice Girl.

Juice Girl's plan is to acquire a tricycle cart

and ride around Brooklyn selling her yummy juice recipes to you!

This blog will chronicle her adventures in juice making, the construction of the cart, and eventually the act of riding around Brooklyn selling juice!

The (very hopeful!) goal for the start of this operation is August 1st.
